Job and Family Services programs are in place to help ensure that everyone’s basic needs are met, including sufficient nourishment, shelter, medical care, and critical social services ranging from child care to career development.
JFS offers the following programs to Summit County residents:

Youth
Building Opportunities for Sustained Success (BOSS) is designed to help youths 14 to 24 to build the skills needed to obtain and retain employment. BOSS offers support services and case management to help overcome barriers and achieve your unique goals.

OhioMeansJobs Summit County has an internal team of business service consultants and recruiters whose primary purpose is helping you find talented job seekers that match your company’s needs. This team of experienced professionals works closely with you to identify the skills and aptitudes necessary to successful job performance and then finds people who match those attributes. We recruit candidates through email and phone calls, request their resumes, and then screen those resumes for the best fit to your job.
Resource Room
The OMJ Resource Room offers access to job searching tools including internet-connected computers, copiers, and machines, and services for those with disabilities.
