Jazmir Tucker Autopsy Press Conference Materials

On Wednesday, January 15, Summit County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Lisa Kohler, M.D. shared a summary of findings from Jazmir Tucker’s autopsy. Members of the Executive’s staff provided the report to Jazmir Tucker’s family, by way of their attorneys, as requested, prior to the media announcement. The autopsy was performed by Chief Deputy Medical Examiner Dr. Robert Shott, M.D., and quality control reviewed and co-signed by Dr. Kohler. 

 

Media members may request access to view the autopsy report at the Medical Examiner’s Office during regular business hours. Efforts will be made to accommodate requests in a timely fashion. Media members will not receive a copy of the report. To submit a request, please email the following information (as required by ORC 313.10) to Gary Guenther and Denice DiNapoli at gguenther@summitoh.net and ddinapoli@summitoh.net:

  1. The journalist’s name, title and phone number.
  2. The address of the journalist’s employer.
  3. A statement that granting the request is in the best interest of the public.
