American Rescue Plan
On March 11, 2021, President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act, a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package. This legislation provides state and local governments with financial resources needed to stabilize and reinvigorate their economies following the shutdowns and COVID-19-related consequences.
Summit County will receive $105 million. Half of the funds were received in 2021 and the second half of funds will be released in 2022.
